Some plants like leaf lettuce, kale, cilantro, basil, and broccoli will be harvested several times by removing larger leaves or flower heads and have a longer period of harvesting.

• Harvest before the leaves turn feathery and plant begin to bolt.
• Harvest about 1/4 to 1/3 of leaves if regrowth is desired.
• Save seeds after plant bolts.
